Esthwaite Water

The beautiful village of Hawkshead lies close to Esthwaite Water which is located between Coniston Water and Lake Windermere in the heart of the Lake District.

Esthwaite Water, another very small lake , is famous for its water lilies floating on the lake’s surface in summer.Wildlife is found in abundance due to the rich nutrients in the water.

Grizedale Forest to the south of the lake offers pleasant forest walking and Wildlife Centre.
